***** was born practically in the middle of nowhere. His parents had always traveled, searching for a chance to make some gold here or there... Trying to make their lives better, possibly by taking advantage of others. As it happened, *****'s mother, *****&, died during her son's birth. Being between the Drow city in the Sewers and the surface, there were no healers or medicine men around to help deliver the child. ***** was given a form of his mother's name as a symbol of respect. Afterwards, *****'s father went into a deep depression... Even his need to take advantage of others was lost and his will to live diminished. He died not long afterward. As a result, ***** has been on his own since he was quite young. He was in a depressing situation himself... Without parents, he had no one to teach him about life. Worse yet, he had no one to help him with his learning. No one even to teach him the basics of stealing and thievery like his parents had done. He went to live on the surface, the first in his family to venture out in many years. He came to envy those around him; Watching children run playfully through the streets, hugging their parents, looking truly content with their lives. He often wished he could be like them. Eventually though, he began to hate them because of their security and happiness, sad that he couldn't do the same. Not knowing what to do with his life he went searching for the answers, much like a gnome would. He wandered into the forests, glad to be away from town. This is where his life took a sudden turn... While wandering, he came across a dark, damp, smelly cave. He considered going in but heard several deep snorts from within. He ran away from the cave, fearing for his life. In the weeks that followed, his lack of knowledge tore at him. He needed to know what was there. He packed up some camping supplies, food and water, and set out for the cave. He set up a place to watch from with some level of safety. He waited for days with no signs of life other than occasional grunts or roars from the inside. Finally, he got to see the beast... Several rather large giants came along. They looked like extremely experienced warriors, ready for a hunt. They weren't ready though. Suddenly a massive white dragon stormed out of its lair! It instantly slew the closest of the warriors, tearing fiercely at him with razor sharp claws, destroying him. ***** gasped in astonishment at the display, but was strangely drawn to watch more. The dragon slammed into the second warrior, knocking him to the ground. The 3rd warrior stabbed at the beast with the swing of a huge axe expecting to do a great deal of damage. Instead, the axe's blade broke upon the hardened scales. This enraged the beast. It turned and ripped wildly at the warrior with his dozens, perhaps hundreds of sharp teeth, shredding and biting at him, leaving only a few bones behind. During this, the surviving warrior rose to his feet and ran with all his strength knowing even one false step could be his demise. The drow looked on in fascinated horror. Absolutely amazed at the power he'd seen he grew envious of the beast. ***** knew immediately that he would not feel complete until he could train himself to be as potent a weapon as he'd seen. He went to Galadon and made it his official home, though he still enjoys spending time in the sewers. He enlisted in the Transmuter's Guild in the hope that one day, he could transform himself into as powerful a beast as he'd witnessed that day. It was his ultimate desire, to be like the one he watched.
