I realize that battlerager RP isn't entirely cut and dry. I was going to be a defender and I think the role I had outlined clearly shows that I wasn't going the traditional route. However, many many people play battleragers the same. This is evident by the proliferation of Thror-speaking RBW's and the general tendency for them to hang out around Eastern Road waiting for the next kill. Not that that's bad per se, just that I usually come to realize that these aren't the people I like surrounding myself with. I can't see me being able to sit in the Inn and chat with any and everybody that comes in, especially mages even though there are a few that run the place. I also can't see me getting a lot of exploring done 1)because many of the other battleragers would be more interested in hunting 2)because you can't use magic and thus there'd be a lot of dying in no-exit rooms and such, 3)because a defender's work is never done and I couldn't in good conscience place exploration over helping villagers with their tasks, etc. I'm a socializer, plain and simple. While I'm sure there are some socializers that play battleragers it's probably likely that most of them are Killers or Achievers. I COULD pull it off, but I wouldn't enjoy it, and that's what the game is all about.
