A question yelled to the skies (IMMs, that is).:

Each time someone asks what is there to be done in order to get one weird race/class combination, the answer is inevitably: good RP. And with good reason.
Now, it is agreed that a great part of RPing (what, 50%?) is the role command. As a matter of fact, it's always mentioned: have a well thought-out role.

My question is:
What is, in the eyes of the IMMs, a good role?
What person is best? 1st, 3rd?
What presentation is the best: naration, reports, encyclopedia entries, etc?
How much does the language (literary, normal, popular, broken) count?
How much of the MUD knowledge should be in there (exotic places, far-away cities, ancient history, etc) and how much does it count?
How much does originality count? (why did I ask this question, again?)

...as well as any other questions that you may think of and believe are important to take in consideration.
[I'm out of imagination. I'll post anything I'll think of, later. Others, please post questions, too]

Pattern Recognizer, humble apprentice of the all-mighty ROLE command.
