I agree, as bitching and wining are not constructive. However, think of what it took to FINALLY bring Battle to it's knees.
Simultanious war with 4 other cabals (Master, Empire, Arbiter, and *gasp* Dawn)
A war with arbiters, of which there has been only one before. Arbiter wars are NEVER fun, especially for newbies on the opposite side as those XP holes can pile up.
A sort of "screw the young ones" attitude that many of the Battle heroes had for a long time, in which they destroyed their future.
And finally, the betrayal of Minalcar.
So basically, it took war with 4 cabals (one of which was arbiter) and the self-destructive attitude of the Battle heroes plus what minalcar did to, according to him, intentionally and FINALLY bring Battle down.
Yeah, a lot of the rise and fall of cabals depends on their leaders, but I still wonder a little about Battle powers from time-to-time, especially berserkers who make better defenders than defenders and have their X5 deathblow back.
Battle seemes to have destroyed itself more than being brought down by the other cabals. Imagine what Thera would be like if Dhaevor had been followed by 2 decent, if not even good leaders.
People may still be bitching about how over-powered ragers are.
Just a thought, not a flame.
