Berserkers are not overpowered. Area spellbane most certainly is not overpowered. You say it should work 60% of the time, given equal levels? I say that in my experience, it works 60% of the time, given equal levels. Yes, I know, Diarmuid never ever got a spell through against a thirsting berserker. If that was once the case, it no longer is. I can't count the number of times an invoker would be raiding or retrieving, and they'd get off 2 straight geysers on me at the giant through bane, and I'd be forced to run away and lick my wounds while they finished the fight. Skilled magi have done well against berserkers new-style. Even some moderately skilled magi have had moderate success. The only Ragers who ever gave my recent magi (yes, I know... conjurers, not invokers) trouble were Rezkirat and Ludi. Battleragers are really not an easy cabal to play, berserker or no. Anyone who says otherwise is smoking something, isn't ranking past 30, or is one of those people who only logs on when there are 10 Ragers already on. Right now, in terms of cabal powers, Master is underpowered, Sylvan is overpowered, and all the other cabals are just about right.
