It all depends on a few variables, but giants can pick up small corpses gear and all. A gnome drops to someone's mace, your naked giant happends upon the corpse. Pick the damn thing up and lug it away with you. You USED to be able to do this. I haven't done it in a long time. Just think, a chaotic giant kills someone, empties the corpse, moves it outside of town and drops it. It's almost too perfect. =)
