When you're attacked just pull out the handy dandy recall potion and poof you've just gotten the conjurer wanted Seriously though, I do think something needs to be changed one way or another. The interpretation that the nightgaunt
for attacking in town which is pretty dumb if you ask me, which of course nobody did so my opinion doesn't count, but I'll
give it anyway because I'm an American who believes in the right to express his opinion any time anywhere for any reason
and also believes in run on sentences and poor spelling. Now I feel better. :)
is more than a standard mob makes in my opinion is wrong and gives the victim a nice chance to make the conjurer sorry
he ever sent the gaunt. One flag can ruin players in both the arbiter and empire cabals. Using a nightgaunt is something
I don't especially care for, but it is a high level spell for the conjurer and should be able to be used. Why make a spell
which can get you flagged because the law isn't flexible enough. The laws were meant to cover every situation in some way
and they do, but there are so many grey areas that can be exploited. This is one of them. The dawnie apparently knew this
or was told of the law by someone and prayed. That's fine as it accomplished what he wanted it to do. It is rather ridiculous
to hold someone accountable when they took the time to make very sure the dawnie was in a unprotected spot only to be flagged
because he recalled. The law just made nightgaunting nearly unuseable by imperials and arbiters. That leaves dawnites, masters
and uncaballed. Since the dawn is about hope they aren't supposed to be getting in trouble with the law so that makes it quite
unuseable for them along with the idea that a nightgaunt is a rather evil creature. Overall I do think the second law shouldn't
cover this situation. If you want to follow the letter of the law then make sure to flag any newbie who brings a beast from the
school into town as it's aggressive to the newbie. Also, any mob that tracks into town can be considered aggressive to the one who
attacked it so they should be flagged also. Pretty stupid as far as I'm concerned.
