Wonderfull Idea but, if they only have 10 ranks that means they never are in PK? If that is what you are trying to achieve that is fine, but have you ever seen how easy it is to steal from a rank 10 mob.

You would think Dwarfs and Duergar would be the best at this, 10 times better than elfs or drow

This would be extreemly east to cheat at, unless each item had a set value you could sell it for. Have your friend pay 1,000,000 for that crap piece you made at level 1

Have you any coding experiance? I have tried to think of how you would code this and it is giving me headaches just tring to think of a plan. The only thing I could think of was making something similar to a familiar or merc have both parties give it to that creature, then it can compare the two and make the trade. You would have to also make the blacksmith unable to drop or pick up or give anything.

PS Ideas are allways good, and they take some time before they could be used. Keep thinking up new ones.
