What you've said is valid in a way, But he got the shaft as did I, tho im not sure if it was he lack of experience (no harsh intentions) to rp a way to find out what he did wrong. Takeing advantage of the situation after you've had your empowerment yanked isnt anything fun. Now for someone who is a Maran, when Shokai is about quiet often. Loseing empowerement Might be harsh as shit, shokai might castrate you and all. But your chance of redemption is much much greater. Haveing him there to be able to witness your actions often is all about the baseis for Rping. This paladin and myself Will most likely never get a chance to get empowerment back, cause we just dont see our gods often enough. My two bits worth.
Being unempowered by a Imm who isnt your god I think is wrong, terribly wrong, For all that imm knows your God could have sent you on a special misson. There are many paladins all with different faiths, ethoses beliefs. All that difference denotes that the paladin code cannot be flawlessly walked by them all. There will be some who are stronger in some sections of the code that in others. No im not saying that you can ignore whole rules, You cannot. But you dont have to hold the bases of the rule so highly. A maran might hunt and kill a lightwalker for wearing evil items. That is pushing the upper limit of no associationg with evil of any kind. Would a non maran paladin do that ?
Fuck no..
Especially for this person and I. Tho his god only shows up IG about four times a week if that. That still fucks him over pretty much. For someone like myself I've seen bt twice in my whole characters life. My char will probably die of old age and ghost before I see Bt again. If you think that is fare your a daft person.
I know I wont tho i shall continue to play Never no I might consider selling my soul to the devil or something, try get empowered by a evil imm who is on often.
