Played that one by Sierra, it was so important to me I forget the damn name. That should answer the question.

To me this is like saying will antique cars still be popular, or collecting stamps. As long as there are people who have imaginations, there will be muds.

Yes, I have quit twice. But here I am. My wife and parents still think of this as a bad addiction yes. We had to come up with special rules as to when I could mud at home :)
