>1. Approximately how many hours have you put into CF total, with all your characters? Is there any other form of entertainment that has taken near the number of hours as CF? 1000 Total (maybe? less, could be more) >3. Do you think text-based muds will be able to continue to compete in the coming years? Will they evolve enough to continue attracting new players? Yes... because there will always be people like me who rather play and enjoy the Text-based muds. >4. When you think of your life 5 years from now, do you imagine yourself still playing mud-type games? I think so. But in 5 years who knows where I'll be. >5. If you had the time, and money/hardware was not a factor, would spend 8 hours a day playing CF in its current form? Would you Actually, Muds keep me occupied and is cheap cause i dont spend money on anything. If I had more money, id go do something else. But dont get me wrong i'm addicted to CF too. But in the end, i'd rather play CF. >6. Have you ever forced yourself to quit Mudding, only to lose control of yourself at some point and find yourself back? Do you or others ever look at CF as an addiction or Illness? Have you ever lost a close relationship/job/class because you could not pull yourself away from the game? Yes. I said I was addicted. But I've never lost anything that important to me over CF. Errh... Missing Class is a different story even if i didnt spend time mudding I'd find something else to do, but CF made it that much easier to not go to class. >7.Have you ever seriously considered ways to make mudding a paying career or job? Have you ever mudded while working, even though it might get you in trouble? If i could get paid mudding... HA!! SIGN me up!. If i could mud from work I would, but I cant. I've mud from a job I had a while back, but if i could from this one I would. Trouble? Bleh... SHAM
Entertainment? Yes... smokin... but I can do both...
>2. Have you ever tried any of the graphical pay muds that are out there? Ultima Online, Asheron's Call, Everquest, etc? Do you think any of them could ever replace what CF means to you?
No I havent. NO. CF is not like any other mud i have ever played... It has a lot of unique things, cool people, many immortals, great cabals (i can go on and on), and not to mention it is always changing, constantly which makes it great!
play one of the graphical Pay-muds? Or would you divide your time between them, depending on your mood?
