So I'm not impressed. It's not hard to fuck over a newbie by giving them an oath (or taking their soul or making them wear a cloak of death or whatever) and it's certainly not hard to fuck a newbie over for basically no reason.

People should be anathed for *actual* bad roleplaying, something the newbie would learn from, something you're probably as guilty of as the newbie. Don't be yet another pissant who picks at little things. All the newbie learned was that you're a jerk and, ooh, he better copy it down next time. Good return for his 100 hours.
