Dirt the nightgaunt so it can't attack you for some time, then run to the forest. It dodged a bit and the dismember & eviscerate you did to it didn't hurt it too much, so, unless you tank very well and/or deal LOTS of damage and/or can hide, I don't know exactly what you can do to get away. As one of the other posts says, we will probably figure out a way around dying to these in a week or so.

        I had numerous prospective ideas to get around wall of thorns: pass door, fireballing, fly, good AC, wearing stone/metal armor only, wearing armor on all slots, using a shield, attacking the thorns...only one of these work, and not very reliably at that (n/t) Joshu 17:06:59 9/13/99 (0)
