Ok, to set this up, I'm a felar ranger, pretty nicely equipped, fully prepped. On my way down the north road, to my guild west of galadon. Our story begins...

Its task complete, a faceless nightgaunt fades away into the shadows.

**WHAT?!?!?**
**I already died!!**

  Tall evergreens line the narrow ridge that winds to the east from a
hill to the north.  The wind in the trees fills the air with an urgent
whispering and you begin to imagine the trees talking in hushed tones
all around you.  To the south the ridge continues to bend eastward
towards another set of foothills.

**From here, I get my bearings (not too quickly though), and run to my corpse.**
**Of course, with all that clairvoyance, he already knows exactly where I died**
**and gets there first.  Damn...**
