I specifically said it was not how I felt about the character. Agorinth may very well have earned his position as emperor and may be an outstanding roleplayer -- which is how you earn those positions. That's entirely separate from being badass, which is pking. At least that's what I thought was meant by whoever asked this.
Purely on a pk basis, I don't see Agorinth being elite. I'm sorry, I just don't. Maybe I haven't seen enough of him, that's certainly possible. But with his ability to simply dispel you and autotrip you, and his free hits on you every time you hit him, let alone the healing curse and black sigil, he is, to use your metaphor, a sixth man who is given the talent and abilities of a Michael Jordan.

Having all four sect powers, especially the two auto ones of kinetic shield and tactics, jumps you up two spots. I think Agorinth as a player is between beginner and skilled. With his powers as emperor he is badass.

I'd like to say first off that I think his powers are a bit much at times, but that's another debate. Saying Agorinth's player is between beginner and skilled is much akin to saying Michael Jordan is a bad-ass basketball player, but take away his hops, quickness, court savvy, etc., he'd be a sub CBA player at best. Face it. Agorinth is an "elite" player who _earned_ his position and powers. He's killed plenty before he was Emperor and High Priest. His powers now just make it a bit more easy. Player wise, I am positive he could take an ill-suited race/class combo and be somewhat successful with it.
