It seems to me that one of the more brutal aspects of nightgaunts is that they have the potential to do significant damage even before delivering the victim to the conjurer.
It also seems that a particularly reckless victim of a nightgaunt attack might forego struggling and let the nightgaunt do its transportational work, thus getting a free ride to an enemy.
Why not implement something whereby a player under nightgaunt attack can "submit" or something and be carried to the conjurer then and there, with no more fighting?
Obviously, sane people would not make regular use of this, but it would make the whole nightgaunt thing a little more interesting, as well as being a way for ragers to show some actual courage.
