Look at what nightgaunts do. They not only summon I have used it ten times without failure c 'conjure nightgaunt' xxx mana move into waypoint. a minute later target arrives, attack it, flee I just find the whole idea of nightgaunt unfair.
I started a conjurer because I got sick of my other character
getting triple teamed by nightgaunts. I spent
the last two weeks ranking this new guy to
finally getting nightgaunts. I have used about
ten times already with my buddies and found
it to be totally stupid. Wasn't there a reason
summon was restricted to only an area? Didn't
masters lose tesseract because it was totally
unfair for a group of ten prepared to go anywhere
and kill anyone at anytime. I was a master
during that time and was even there when they lost tesseract.
I thought it was a good idea.
someone, they beat the crap out of him before
hand, deliver him to a larger group, and in
most cases to a place where the person cannot
flee or recall...ie. the waypoint of SL. Does
that really sound fair?
and have killed all of my foes. Of course I picked them
carefully, but that doesn't matter.
I didn't have to even move from my summon
point the whole time. All I did was this:
let my two friends spell the nightgaunt up...
i.e. haste and sanc....(one could argue that
most will not have haste or sanc, but it really isn't
that hard to get). Most goodies will give away the sanc.
c 'bind nightgaunt' nightgaunt
let mobs finish it.
I played both sides now so do not tell my about
how hard it is to rank a conjurer, it was by far
the easiest character so far with all those elementals.
I would say make it so nightgaunts is more like summon now. Reduce it
to one spells: c 'nightgaunt' person, but limit it to
the same area. Or if you most, areas one away. At least
make it so the conjurer has to actually move once in awhile
to find his or her target. Anyone can wait till night, spell
up, and kill someone.
