That's what I was getting at, but you didn't awnser my question, is it a class? a new bard song? or what. I don't want specific's that wouldn't be right, but I would like to be pointed in the right direction. This kinda goes along with a post I posted a while back about Quests and the like. I've played Cf for over a year and a half now and know many quests and secret locations of wands and the like, but I have never seen these promored by an IMM's. I roleplay very well, I've had a shaman, a couple of paladins, a tatoo on several characters. Empowerment is always fun and sometimes a game of patience but is worth it in the end (that is if you play the game for fun and not for mindless PK'ing). Never have I seen any quest promoted by any IMM, execpt with one of my DAWN characters, I was lucky enough to participate in Lord Selric's induction to the heavens and as a patron of the HAVEN. > > He's referring to a bard who is part of Empire. In Empire, bards are inducted into the Blade sect. Thus you have a Blade Singer. > First of all, the original discussion came from a thread addressing warrior specialties. One person, in an off hand manner, mentioned that if you want to do something unique, why don't you try a blade singer or something. > The next person to post, asked what that was, followed by another person making some off handed remark about imperial bards, then myself telling him he's mistaken, then even more people telling me I'm an idiot (perfectly normal reaction to one of my posts). > Not trying to give away to much, a the blade song references something in the game (which you can find if you look hard enough). Some people have discovered what it is (as I said before I've only met one person who knew it). > I'm sure if you're the right person, and you're in the right place praying about it, you'll learn more. > ...Rome... (my, that was uncharacteristiclly vague)
Now on to my complaint, Most of these quests and special things are known by only a select few greedy people, who will not share the secrets with anyone else. Alot of this knowledge has died because it was not passed on to anyone else. I say let there be rummors or songs or stories written to all in the form of notes that give clues and helpfull hints to what may be out there and how to start looking. That would be very helpful in the game and would increase roleplaying and exploreation, instead of just people lying around on eastern road gang banging everyone who walks by. Of course from time to time, throw out some crazy off the wall story or quest that isn't true, that way people never know what to believe and what not to believe, but many people will go and explore to find out.
Alot of people I'm sure will agree with me on this, so speak up and let our voices be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!and don't forget to clue me in about this BLade Singer......
