"Getting caught" isn't the deterrent for me when it comes to breaking the rules. I play this game because it's a game. Breaking the rules to win wouldn't make me feel very good, I'd come away with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth (I'll wait for the crude joke about that statement) and so I would simply not do it.

If you only play a game to win, it won't be very much fun for you. Losing sucks, don't get me wrong. I had my fair share of losing. But the attitude you have when you lose is what determines, in large part, how much fun winning is.
