I'll make my comments here, and try to remember to send them into the Imm's too... I'll also start by saying I am not a power gamer to CF. I don't know all the differances between all the classes and what PK combo is best. I play to have fun and to explore a new world. Yes I get PK'd alot, and yes I do my share as well, but I'm not here to be a PK machine or try to powerlevel to Hero asap. that said... Empowerment is not the same as tattooing. Some seem to think it is, and perhaps some Imm's see it as a step toward tattooing. I dont' know why anyone would seek empowerment if they don't plan on finishing the role to get the tattoo as well. But you could point back to the powergamers / powerlevers / and those who got what they needed and are happy with that. I was under the impression that any Imm could empower w/i their own spheres. I could believe if Imm's could empower to any sphere (maybe based on Imm rank). Someone above suggested Imm's empowering outside their spheres, I think that's a pretty good idea. All Imm's have their own ideas of perfect RP, but are smart enough (I would think) to recognise good RP in other spheres as well. There may be Imm's who don't want anyone else EMP. their spheres, but this may be a good solution to a not-so-bad-as-of-yet 'difficulty' Also I know some relegions have had a 'Voice', or such. Could you grant empowerment abilites to a 'mortal' leader for your religion (as with cabals)? The final marking is still to the Imm, and snooping a mortally empowered character would be a given, I think, when that Imm has a chance to break from all their other duties and check-up on their followers. Theses Mortal avatars could at least meet with empower seekers and say 'Hey, check this guy out, or don't even bother with him yet...' Anything to make the process more successful. It's not a dead horse, we just want him to run faster... Final thought: I really love seeing Imm's posting here. It's good to know they are listening, even if they say no.
