Suffice to say I tend to write long roles. As far as I know, there is no limit.

However, Nepenthe has politely chided me on the Forum for being a bit.. verbose. All other things equal, if you can say it quickly, it can save IMMs a lot of reading time, and make it easier for them to interact with you. But if you have a complex role, don't feel a need to abandon it, either.
