I noticed Thinnie make a comment below about why Ragers should attack Arbs, and he got flamed. Um... sorry guys, but he's right.

As Dhaevor, I made it explicitly clear that Battle's true war was with the Tower alone... not even with Empire.

But, I viewed Arbiters as a worse foe than Empire. Why? Because they actively protect mages from their deserved fate. This is WHY Ragers can't be lawful, folks. Come on, think about it.

It's not like other cabals... yes, they accept mages, so you kill their mages, but you try and respect the cabal beliefs if you can. But Arbiters, their very beliefs entail hindering the pursuit of the Truth! An Arbiter is bound by his belief and service to the cabal to try and stop me from killing a mage who is polluting Galadon with his taint. That makes him in league with the magi, and it makes me (as Rager) want to rip his heart out whenever I see him, even if he's not actively protecting a mage at the time. 5 minutes after the reboot when the Arbiters were resurrected, Dhaevor walked past Bria interviewing Quintellia at the stern guard and took the Book back to the village. Other events prevented me from following through with full war as I had intended at the time, but in my eyes it is absolutely clear that that's what a Rager SHOULD do. Kill Arbiters every time you see them, take the Book, open up mage guilds all the time, and so on. Crush the magi and those who would protect them. Crush the Arbiters until they exempt magi from the protection of the law and let them be ripped freely apart in the streets of the cities like the scum they are.

My two cents.
