Pay attention...the point is they didn't raid for the head. Player fighting doesn't translate into Cabal wars. Battle/Cult war is random. Yes, most of their characters won't get along...but do the rules of Battle conflict with the beliefs of the Scarabs??

Yes, the Cult is made up almost exclusivly from mages. And battle should definitly hunt down and kill these mages at any given time. However, I don't know of any reason why they would have a problem with the Cult and their beliefs. You don't see Battle raiding Arbiter or Entropy because they accept mages. I think one should only attack a Cabal for the item when the Cabal has "sinned" against their beliefs. And if a person in the cabal has "sinned"...then kill the person. They should be two seperate issues.
