Don't expect to kill any mobs with an air major, and killing players still requires an ounce of intelligence. Offense majors can rip through mobs with moderate defensive capabilities, and stand up better again ragers/one on one battles. Of course, they can't escape like a bird or fly around so easily. As one who has failed, I'd advise offense/air for exploration. Air/whatever works better if you want to be a dumb PK machine... that's been proven already.
