Sylvans are not *peaceful*. You want peaceful, talk to a follower of Lyria or Selric. Sylvans are visionaries who seek to create a sylvan utopia, prefer to stay on the periphery of "civilized existence," and lament the conditions that force them to involve themselves. But why should Warder shy away from violence? We are savage and primal, as beasts running through the deep glades. We prefer to keep to ourselves, but why I hesitate to dig my claws into a defiler, and spill fountains of blood upon the ground? Because the civilized moral construct tells me that such a thing is bad? Hardly. (As an aside, Arantomir was sphere Death, and could very much appreciate the need for cleansing and destruction to make way for purifying rebirth...) An unrepentant defiler is an unrepentant defiler, and will be slain without mercy. If I know they are an enemy of nature and have not seen the error of their ways, why should I care whether they're actively killing dryads or just sitting in their guild spamming armor? Duergar, drow, and necromancers are to be slain on sight, as they are embodied corruptions of life. And you are deluded in your conception of Sylvan if you think a good Master should receive treatment different from an evil Master. Both are "evil" in our eyes, as they defile. Defiling includes attacks upon the Sylvan cabal or upon Warders, who are protectors of the wilds. It's no different from beating on forest guardians in FoN. Warders don't seek out conflict, no. But nor do we shy away from it when the situation arises. Sylvans are *NOT* tree-huggers. Take the image you may have of a scantily-clad elfin fellow frolicking in the meadows out of your mind, and replace it with a pack of proud, savage beasts stalking through their woodland home with a watchful and fierce eye. Maybe some day, some Warders would like to be like that. But Thera as it stands requires a different sort of attention.
> Now, I've seen the little warder gangbangs you guys have so don't try to deny it. I've seen Arantomir(now-gone), Hilaene, and others beating some poor master down for shits and giggles, even though that master wasn't in a forest at the time. I've seen you and Arantomir killing Ropitier(oddly an elven master) down in Aridhol, even though in all liklihood Ropitier has never harmed a forest creature.
