I have played defenders and I totally agree, but I put some thought into it and I don't think there needs to be change.

The village is about rage. If there were equal parts defenders, scouts, and berserkers I wouldn't think of the village as 'ragers', but more a well balanced cabal of stragedy and judgement.

The powers lend to a village consisting of mostly berserkers, with a few defenders and scouts, the way it should be. I am guessing the Immortal's intended it to be this way.
